2. THE PROCESS

The first stage is to choose your photos. The better the photo the better the portrait. Ideally the photograph should be at eye level with your subject looking straight at you or to one side looking past the camera. A good pose and detail that clearly shows the texture of the fur/skin and eye colour are keys to the realism that I portray in my drawings and paintings.

What about backgrounds?

My preference is to focus on your pet/family member so I generally do not include backgrounds, however if you require a background please let me know and I will be happy to offer this.

Will you update me on progress?

Yes. Once I commence work on your portrait I will keep in touch with you via regular SMS, Messenger and/or emails where you will be able to see your portrait progress via photos of each stage. This will give you the opportunity to make comments and suggest adjustments so that the finished portrait accurately reflects your pet/family member and their personality.

What happens upon completion?

Upon completion of your portrait I will email or message you a full scan for your review. At this stage I may be able to make minor adjustments. Upon confirmation and approval  from you that you are satisfied with the finished portrait you will be invoiced for the final balance payment which is payable within 7 days of completion. Your portrait will then be securely wrapped, packaged and shipped out to you via courier. I can also personally deliver if you are within my local area - the Central Coast.

Changes and rejection of finished portrait

Once you have approved and received delivery of your portrait you have 7 days to contact me about any required changes. If the portrait needs returning for alterations you may need to pay the necessary postage/courier charges.

If you are still not happy with the finished portrait after changes have been made I will provide you with a full refund minus the deposit plus 30% of the balance. The refunded amount will be paid by me after the portrait has been returned to me.
